Music Festival Poster
Poster
For a digital illustration class, I had to think of an original music festival and create a poster that conveyed the theme and details of the event. My event was a blues music event called "Cross Roads", a reference to the legend of Robert Johnson selling his soul to the devil at the Cross Roads. I used photographs of myself to help illustrate the posture and movement of the figure. The sign that is mounted at the actual crossroads in Clarksdale, Mississippi can be seen in the background, as well as the reflection in his glasses. The date, August 16, marks the day that both Robert Johnson and Elvis Presley died. We were also required to create mock ups for some merchandise that could be sold at our event.
Mock ups
I created mock ups of some of the merchandise sold at the event. These include a lanyard, water bottle, and a T-shirt.
