Book Dust Jacket | Indesign

This is a dust jacket cover for the book Holes. Using the dimensions of the physical book, the dimensions of the panels were created. The jacket includes information about the author, a summary, barcode, and prices. I created the lizards based on the description in the book and based on real animals. In the book, the lizards are venomous and desert living and the only existing lizards like that are the Gila Monster and Beaded Lizard. Using that, I designed the Yellow-Spotted Lizards from the book to have a similar head and tail shape to those species, implying their relation.
